Juan Miceli and Kathie Halfin work in the dialogical, research, and experimentation based collaboration. We are coming from different backgrounds Juan from Argentina and Kathie from Russia and Israel. In our collaborative work we challenge the perception of the familiar and distant related to the mentality, background, place and language. We wish to learn the extent to which one person’s experience and one’s self could grow and allow the other self in. We have never met. We never been enthusiastic about regular connection. We communicate by exchanging songs and sound pieces that we record. We keep track of our exchange by creating a google doc where we share our visual inspiration and writing.
